Mother Armenia Statue

Mother Armenia Statue in Yerevan. A monumental statue in Victory Park overlooking Yerevan. The current Statue replaces a previous statue of Stalin, which put up on November 29, 1950 and then replaced with this new one in 1962. The Mother Armenia statue symbolises peace through strength. Every year on May 9th, many people visit it and flowers are laid in front of it for Mother’s Day.
